Replacing ducts well takes more than running new pipe. We run load calculations to size each branch, seal connections with mastic or proper tape (not fabric duct tape — that fails), insulate any runs that pass through unconditioned space, and make sure return air pathways are sized so the system breathes right. Done this way, the same furnace and AC unit start performing noticeably better.
